An evening of dance choreographed by two international artists, built on abstraction and imagination.

A composed evening choreographed by two international choreographers is based on abstraction and imagination. “King’s Court”, set to music by Wojciech Kilar, is a dance creation loosely inspired by the court of King James I. The choreography, created by Belgian choreographer Glen Lambrecht.

The second part of the evening is a choreography entitled “Hidden Secrets”, set to the music of Philip Glass. It is an abstract ballet whose central theme is the desire of a young man to escape from a political and corrupt system. The choreographer is the highly talented and sought-after American artist Garrett Smith, who has recently presented his works at Milan’s La Scala and Houston Ballet. This was his first appearance in the Czech Republic, where the Moravian Theatre Ballet presented the piece in its world premiere.

In the second part of the performance, there will be a moment when a gunshot is heard.
