Kulturně edukační centrum vzniklo jako místo pro interakci divadelního umění, vzdělávání a veřejnosti propojující výukové a workshopové i zkušební prostory s dílnami pro tvorbu scénických dekorací. Divadelní dílny Moravského divadla se do nových prostor přesouvají po třicetiletém provizoriu. Workshopové prostory nabízejí pod hlavičkou Ateliéru MDO možnosti volnočasových aktivit a kreativního vzdělávání široké veřejnosti. Výukové prostory KECu vznikly pro potřebu studujících zcela nového středoškolského oboru jevištní technologie, který rozšířil osnovy Střední školy grafiky a médií, na jejímž pozemku Kulturně edukační centrum stojí. Díky tomuto novému oboru je možné předávat zkušenosti novým generacím jevištních techniků, osvětlovačů i zvukařů, kteří v odvětvích kreativního průmyslu zoufale chybí. KEC také poskytuje prostor pro další vzdělávání profesionálů v kreativních technologiích, a to na celoevropské úrovni. Prostory nového centra budou dále sloužit pronájmům nebo rekvalifikacím. Jeho cílem je stát se ukotveným komunitním prostorem pro profesionály i laickou veřejnost, který nabízí širokou škálu vzdělávacích i volnočasových aktivit.
About KEC
The Culture and Education Centre (KEC) was founded as an intersection of theatre, education and the public, unifying teaching, workshop and rehearsal spaces with workshops for creating stage decorations. The theatre workshops of the Moravian Theatre are moving to new premises after a thirty-year makeshift. As part of the Atelier MDO, the workshops offer opportunities for leisure activities and creative education to the general public. The KEC's teaching spaces were built for the needs of students of a brand new study programme of Stage Technology, which expanded the curriculum of the local High School of Graphics and Media. The Centre is located on its grounds. Thanks to this new programme, it is possible to pass on experience to new generations of stage technicians, lighting engineers and sound engineers, who are desperately needed in the creative industry. KEC also provides space for further education of professionals in creative technologies, spanning the whole of Europe. The premises of the new centre will continue to be used for rental or retraining. Its goal is to become a permanent community space for professionals and the general public, offering a wide range of educational and leisure activities.
Über KEC
Das Kultur und Bildungszentrum (KEC) wurde als Begegnungsort für darstellende Künste, Bildung sowie breite Öffentlichkeit gegründet und kombiniert Lehr-, Workshop- und Proberäume mit Werkstätten für die Herstellung von Bühnenbildern. Die Theaterwerkstätten des Mährischen Theaters ziehen nach einem 30-jährigen Provisorium in die neuen Räumlichkeiten um. Die Werkstätten des bewährten MDO-Ateliers bieten der Öffentlichkeit Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung und kreativen Bildung. Die Unterrichtsräume des KEC sind entstanden, um den Bedürfnissen der Schüler gerecht zu werden, die im brandneuen Lehrfach Bühnentechnik an der Fachschule für Grafik und Medien lernen, auf deren Gelände das Zentrum steht. Dank dieses neuen Lehrfachs ist es möglich, Erfahrungen an neue Generationen von Bühnentechnikern, Beleuchtern und Toningenieuren weiterzugeben, die in der Kreativwirtschaft dringend benötigt werden. Das KEC bietet auch eine Plattform für die Weiterbildung von Fachleuten im Bereich der kreativen Technologien und zwar auf gesamteuropäischer Ebene. Die Räumlichkeiten des neuen Zentrums sollen auch für Vermietungen oder Umschulungen genutzt werden. Es soll zu einem festen Gemeinschaftsraum für Fachleute und die breite Öffentlichkeit werden und ein breites Spektrum an Bildungs- und Freizeitaktivitäten bieten.
